Here are a few questions that the Bible asks each
person:
If you were to die tonight, do you think you would go to heaven? People are looking for and working for assurances in their world. What can we count on? What do I plan for and work for? How does the future look from our current vantage point? There seem to be fewer answers and more questions now than ever. But all of our worries about the condition of our world will end when we die. Then what? Will you go to heaven - or not?
If you were to die and stand before God in heaven and He were to ask you why He should let you into His heaven, how would you respond? This question shows that there is a standard. When students take tests, their grade is based on how close their answers were to the answer key. The answer key is the standard. You cannot change the answer key. If we drive faster than the speed limit, we are violating the standard and risk getting a ticket. God has a clear standard for entrance into heaven. You will not be able to negotiate that standard down, and you will not be able to gloss over the choices you have made in this world. How will you answer God?
